MAILEXPRESS STRENGTHENS BOARD OF DIRECTORS WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS

Former Ingram Micro CEO and EarthLink board member Linwood A. "Chip" Lacy Jr. joins as board chairman

ATLANTA, GA – SEPTEMBER 23, 2008 – MailExpress Inc., the leading provider of performance mail solutions for corporate customers nationwide, today announced the appointment of two new board members: Andy S. Bodea, SVP of Global Operations for Equifax, and Linwood A. “Chip” Lacy, Jr., former Chairman and CEO of Ingram Micro Inc. Bringing strong operational and strategic leadership experience working with a range of successful companies, the new board members are poised to help MailExpress reach aggressive revenue targets as the company rides strong momentum into the next stage of growth.

A consistent growth leader and business transformation expert with extensive strategic and operational experience in building top-line performance in operation and line units for Fortune 50 companies, Andy S. Bodea joins MailExpress’ board as Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Equifax. He formerly held a number of executive-level positions during his six year tenure at The Home Depot, Inc., most recently as Vice President of Services Processes and Process Improvement. There he led 2,300 associates and ran a $2 billion sales and fulfillment operation within that company's Home Services division. Bodea also played key strategy and operations roles while at Gateway, Inc., General Electric Co., and McKinsey & Company.

Chip Lacy joins the MailExpress Board of Directors as Chairman. An industry visionary with deep experience in global technology distribution and logistics, Lacy brings a wealth of experience as both a top executive and board member for a number of highly successful companies. He is the former Chairman and CEO of Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest technology distributor with $35 billion in FY2007 revenues. Lacy has served on the Boards of Directors for EVault, which was sold to Seagate in 2007, and EarthLink, where he recently retired after twelve years of service as a board member. In addition to his new role as MailExpress’ chairman of the board, he also sits on the board of directors at Ingram Industries, Inc., Confidex and NETGEAR.

“I’m extremely impressed by the success MailExpress has demonstrated in building out its infrastructure and taking the company to its current size, particularly in light of the fact that the company was founded just a few short years ago,” said Lacy. "I’m confident that the company has all of the ingredients in place to ensure a bright future of continued, sustained growth. As such, I'm delighted to be joining MailExpress’ board at this juncture in the company's development to help guide the business to the next level and beyond.”

Founded in 2005 by the same innovative team of industry veterans that invented the performance mail concept in 1996 while at SmartMail (bought by giant DHL), MailExpress is the only company in the industry focused solely on performance mail market. Specializing in the expedited delivery of light parcels and non-letter size mail (“flat mail or flats”) with reduced costs, first class speed, online tracking, and real-time analytics and customized reporting, MailExpress combines the strengths and capabilities of MailExpress’ nationwide processing and distribution network with the U.S. Postal system to accelerate the “last mile” link in the delivery chain.
